“The only way to deliver the best people outcomes is a strong understanding of business culture, markets, individual challenges, and the future state. Our success rests on a dynamic partnership with our clients and understanding their business now and into the future. We challenge the status quo, taking contemporary approaches to build teams and leaders, being honest every step of the way. We unlock your team’s potential by connecting talent with opportunity.”

Merran enjoys an active lifestyle regularly playing tennis and maintaining her fitness to counteract the delights of the Melbourne food and wine scene!

Andrew Telburn

Partner

Andrew is a qualified accountant (CPA) and brings 25 years of experience and a wealth of commercial insight and know-how to our team. Over 14 years at IBM in finance, business development and management positions, he led the integration of targeted company acquisitions into IBM’s operating and human resources infrastructure. Following his time in corporate, he ran his own executive recruitment firm for some 6 years and was also a member of Horton International Executive Search. He joined Reddin Group in 2019 and now OI Partners.

“There is an enormous reward from partnering with our clients – advising and working collaboratively across the organisation to not only solve their current HR and talent gaps, but also identifying future needs and strategies. It not only helps with the piece of the puzzle they see is missing but looking at the big picture and identifying the best way to complete it.”

Fuelled by a keen interest in agriculture, professional services, maritime, and manufacturing, Andrew recruits to a range of Board, Executive and senior management positions as well as unique technical specialist functions into these industries.

Andrew is married with three children, an avid runner and passionate sailor. He is trying to do enough training to stay “relevant” at Victorian Masters, whilst he always loves the water and has competed in many Sailing Regattas.

Damian Menzies

Partner

Damian is our partner responsible for outplacement, under the brand Choice-‘helping organisations manage the human impact of change and helping build capability’. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience working with organisations dealing with the human impact of restructuring and helping them develop capability. These skills and experiences have been developed over a 30 year career in business.

He has worked on major change programs from both the ‘inside’ and ‘outside’ including working in the global headquarters of multinationals, SME’s and driving global change programs.

His skill in uncovering client problems and developing solutions to assist clients successfully manage the human impact of change. He also recognises the importance of working with people to make change happen. Successful change management can only occur when there are a strong combination of skills. A successful leader is able to identify the skills required, secure their ‘buy in’ and then lead the team successfully through the change program.

He has worked with management at senior levels, planning and implementing major change programs. He has also provided executive coaching support to many senior executives.

Damian is a qualified Chartered Accountant, holds an Executive MBA from the Australian School of Business and is currently a Board member of OI Global Partners, a global outplacement and talent management network.
